Sheep have a strong instinct to follow the sheep in front of them. When one sheep decides to go somewhere, the rest of the flock usually follows, even if it is not a good “decision”.

Be a leader not a sheep

Why are most people followers and not leaders?
Leading is challenging, it’s uncomfortable, there’s no rule book for it, and it’s the biggest risk you can take in life. It takes a commitment to want to lead regardless of whether you’re doing it “right”. In other words, it takes effort.

What is an actual MLM Leader?
It may not be what you think. Here is the definition of an MLM Leader. They are someone who creates leaders, not followers. They are someone who strives to get their teammates up on stage. They are someone willing to give credit to others if it helps them in accomplishing their goals of getting teammates transformed into leaders. They only define themselves by the performance of their team, not their own performance as they know that is short lived and is NOT the true essence of the network marketing industry. An MLM Leader, with intense focus over a period of 18-36 months, should have the ability to create a lifelong residual income because they have created enough leaders to sustain it. An MLM Leader may NOT be considered a guru, superstar or hotshot but known as a great teacher, trainer and coach.

Leaders are MADE and not born
The first rule is that everyone can be a leader. The good thing is that Leadership is DEVELOPED over time and anyone can be a Leader. But just like learning anything (like walking, swimming, biking, etc.), the more study and practice leadership, the more you grow as a leader. In other words, “you lead by example”.
